#Ads of the Week: September 14th

This week features both endemic and non-endemic brands as AORUS, Call of Duty, and Cash App secure the top three sponsored segments.

The top #ads last week took a global spin as French streamer Gotaga landed at the top of the list via his sponsored stream with AORUS promoting their PC products and peripherals. The partnership lends itself to a traditional campaign but acknowledges the international aspect of gaming. Often, the highlighted segments at the top of the list come from North America; but AORUS was able to work with Gotaga to reach a French audience. Streaming platforms are some of the few sites that converge global communities to one place for entertainment so we may see more brands taking a stab at sponsorships with international streamers to reach an extended target market.

Gotaga x AORUS

  • Gotaga held a sponsored stream with AORUS to promote the company’s products during a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone event.
  • The 5 hour stream generated 224K hours watched hitting a peak viewership of 67K viewers.

TimTheTatman x Activision / Call of Duty

  • Tim finds himself in the top three for a Call of Duty #ad for the second straight week. He is using the creator codes to his full advantage and streaming countless hours on Warzone with his code in the title.
  • TimTheTatman averaged 38K viewers during his sponsored segment which totaled 181K hours watched.

Hiko x Cash App

  • Hiko is part of the 100 Thieves VALORANT team and Cash App is a sponsor of the 100 Thieves organization making this a very seamless #ad promoting the Cash App services.
  • Hiko’s stream hit 60K hours watched with 14K average viewers over the course of 4 hours.
