Supervive’s Alpha Play Test: A Promising Beginning

If you are a multi-genre gamer, you will understand that all genres have a unique aspect that encourages players to keep coming back for more, especially when they stand out in one of those aspects. Whether it’s the fast-paced fights of MOBAs, the straightforwardness of battle royales, or the dexterity factor when aiming in tactical shooters, gamers know which of these are within their strengths. Well, Supervive combines all of them.

According to PC Gamer, Supervive feels similar to League of Legends, only if they added guns (to all characters) and a battle royale mode in squads of 4.

The new squad-based, hero battle royale game previously known as Project Loki—launched its Alpha Play Test, capturing widespread attention across all major streaming platforms. Despite being in its early testing phase, Supervive showed signs of strong potential, indicated by the impressive engagement metrics observed during the first weekend.

Theorycraft Games, the creators behind Supervive, aim to develop “10k hour games,” ensuring long-term player engagement and enjoyment. Their mission is reflected in the early success of Supervive’s Alpha Play Test, which showed promise of becoming a staple in the gaming community.

With 714K hours watched during its first weekend of playtest, Supervive managed a successful start, with a peak of 43K viewers in only 13K hours of airtime. These numbers highlight a robust start for the game, suggesting a solid foundation for growth and continued player interest.

With big streamers such as xQc reaching 56K hours watched during its 1st weekend of playtest, Theorycraft Games seem to have understood the power of promoting their release using gaming creators across Twitch, YouTube, and Kick.

What’s Next for Supervive

Supervive‘s performance in its first weekend indicates a bright future for the game. As Theorycraft Games continue to refine and expand the game, maintaining this level of engagement will be essential. The positive reception and high viewership numbers suggest that Supervive could achieve its goal of being a long-lasting, engaging title for gamers worldwide.
