The long awaited release of Cyberpunk 2077 reached massive viewership across live streaming platforms on launch day.
After seemingly countless delays to the game’s release, Cyberpunk 2077 officially dropped yesterday, December 9th, 2020. The highly anticipated action RPG was quickly picked up by streamers to begin playthroughs for their audiences. Viewers poured into Cyberpunk 2077 channels generating almost 14M hours watched on launch day from about 19K unique channels booting up the game. Compared to the other new releases in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 reached the second highest peak viewership with 1.4M trailing only VALORANT with about 1.9M viewers. All that’s left is for the game to live up to the hype and continue to produce content for extended success on stream.

- On launch day, over 25K hours of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay were streamed across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook Gaming.
