The most watched games across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook Gaming haven’t changed dramatically since last week. The only difference came from CS:GO taking a spot over VALORANT. The League of Legends Summer Split playoffs began which resulted in a spike in total viewership last week allowing Riot Games’ long standing game to maintain the top spot. Just Chatting content is still generating plenty of interest but hasn’t reached the peak concurrency of other top categories likely due to the nature of the conversational content rather than action-packed moments. Fall Guys was able to maintain their third place position and continues to climb. This new game is a great example of a marketing strategy leading user acquisition, retention, and organic growth via their viral social media banter and personable copy. Clearly, the strategy is helping viewership while the game almost reached one million peak viewers last week.
