#Ads of the Week: October 25th – 31st, 2021

The newest #Ads of the Week is sports themed as both Castro_1021 and NICKMERCS have partnerships with companies affiliated with sports. For the second consecutive week, NICKMERCS and SeatGeek made the list of top ads. The dynamic duo have put their digital campaigns in full effect as the sports ecosystem is booming. All four of the major North American sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, & NHL) were all playing games last week. If there were ever a time to market to the live streaming audience in an attempt to get them to attend a traditional sports game and use the SeatGeek app, it would be now. On top of the current game schedule of the leagues, NICKMERCS is an avid sports fan often seen supporting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and University of Michigan Wolverines. Having a brand ambassador who believes in the product is much better than a logo slap in front of target audiences. Expect to see NICKMERCS and SeatGeek to continue to work together for even bigger #ads.

Castro_1021, a popular FIFA streamer, worked with EA to promote their newest activation with Prime Gaming. Players can connect their Prime Gaming account to their EA SPORTS account to collect a monthly FIFA Ultimate Team pack. These free packs contain player cards as well as some consumable items. Castro_1021 ran #ads on his stream informing his viewers on how to collect the packs by connecting accounts. Publishers continue to work with creators as influencer marketing is still an important tactic to deploy. With new releases quickly approaching in Q4, expect to see plenty of influencer marketing on live streaming sites.
