GVC TOP TEN: 7/20 – 7/26

Just Chatting content still on top, Fortnite reached a massive peak viewership, and Minecraft surges.

The latest edition of the most watched games across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook Gaming was once again led by Just Chatting, League of Legends, and Fortnite. The biggest games, esports leagues, and events can’t seem to catch up to the growing Just Chatting content as streaming platforms continue to become more than just gaming. Additionally, Fortnite was almost able to break 1 million concurrent viewers after a 42% growth in peak audience.

Growing Titles:

  • Minecraft had the biggest WoW increase in total hours watched after a 6.54% jump to 22M.
  • Just Chatting is still outpacing other top games with a 5.45% climb in hours watched; bringing the category’s total to 43M.
  • League of Legends continues to generate viewership through general content as well as their various esports leagues. The title grew 3% to reach 41M hours watched last week.
  • PUBG Mobile still leads all mobile games as it generated an increase of 2.29% to reach 37M hours watched.
  • Both GTA V and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare both remained relatively stable as they only climbed 0.55% and 0.54% in total hours watched, respectively.

Declining Titles:

  • Garena Free Fire fell 20.41% bringing the game’s total hours watched to 26M and dropping in placement behind GTA V.
  • CS:GO declined 4.18% last week but was still able to crack the top ten in hours watched with 12M.
  • VALORANT decreased by 3.54% but recent esports events may help the title climb past 14M hours watched in next week’s edition.
  • Fortnite realized a slight 1.77% decline but still managed to generate 39M hours watched with the highest peak concurrency on the list.
