GVC Top Ten: November 9th – November 15th

Minecraft finds its way into the top three while Just Chatting and League of Legends remain at their previous spots.

The most watched games across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook Gaming were once again led by Just Chatting. However, the gap between the #1 and #10 category has decreased since the previous week. With many esports leagues in the offseason and the release of various new games or content, viewership appears to be spread out. The week-over-week changes in hours watched were pretty volatile and there wasn’t a game to reach over 1M peak concurrent viewers for the first time in over a month. Some games will benefit from the distributed viewership while others will falter. If the new releases can soak up the marginal market share, they’re poised to make a huge impact. Keep an eye on Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the game placed 9th on the list with only 3 days of content consumed – it will surely move up the chart in the following weeks.

Top Growing Titles:

  • Minecraft climbed into the top three categories with a 17% increase of hours watched to reach 36M overall.
  • PUBG Mobile grew 7% as more viewers may be interested now that India will be unbanning the game.
  • GTA V was the only other game to increase its market share with about a 1% growth in hours watched.

Top Declining Titles:

  • CS:GO dropped 26% and barely made the top ten even with a 27% in peak viewership as well.
  • Among Us might be feeling the end of its trend with a decline of 25% to 32M hours watched. With that bein said, the game still placed fourth last week.
  • Garena Free Fire came off a very popular week of esports events that saw massive viewership so a 18% decrease isn’t too surprising.
