#Ads of the Week: TimTheTatman, GTAWiseGuy, & TeePee

#Ads of the Week - July 12 - 18th, 2021

The latest #Ads of the Week highlights big partnerships with top streamers, specifically TimTheTatman, GTAWiseGuy, and TeePee. Similar to professional athletes on Wheaties cereal boxes, Tim has graced the box cover of Sour Patch Kids. However, instead of simply putting the streamer’s face on the box, the collaboration features Tim’s three favorite flavors: Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Lime. Tim is promoting the 2lb box of Sour Patch Kids through his channel via #ads on stream. Although this isn’t the first time a sweet product has teamed up with Tim (Reese’s did a promotion with him a few years back), it’s certainly the most unique. Influencer marketing is here to stay and the gaming community is quickly getting involved. TimTheTatman’s Sour Patch Kids, CouRage’s MTN DEW Game Fuel, and many other collaborations are blossoming as a result. Be on the lookout for more cool partnerships with your favorite streamers!

Streamer GTAWiseGuy is a well-known name to the NoPixel GTA V RP server. His latest sponsored segment featured a new-age product: NFT’s. A non-fungible token is a digital asset that represents a real-world unique, irreplaceable item; hence, non-fungible. However, content creators are starting to use NFT’s to sell moments from their streams. Eternal.gg is on the forefront of pushing NFT’s into streaming by partnering with various creators to help viewers “own moments of streaming history.” Similar to NBA Top Shot, Eternal.gg may become the biggest NFT marketplace to bring audiences one step closer to their streamers.

Lastly, TeePee held a sponsored stream in partnership with PAGODA, a frozen snack brand. While frozen snacks have been involved with gaming for a while (like Hot Pockets), PAGODA is the most recent brand to get involved. Using their tagline #PutTheEggRollsIn, TeePee brought awareness to the company and their most popular product. Frozen foods have found their perfect fit with the gaming community because of the quick, easy preparation allowing gamers to continue playing seamlessly.

  • The Sour Patch Kids sponsored stream generated over 81K hours watched in just 2 hours while averaging about 41K viewers!
GTAWiseGuy x Eternal.gg
  • GTAWiseGuy’s sponsored segment with Eternal.gg lasted 9 hours generating 63K total hours watched.
TeePee x PAGODA
  • TeePee’s PAGODA stream reached 53K hours watched in 2 hours with a peak of over 27K viewers.
