The most recent #Ads of the Week was dominated by activations with channels streaming the release of Lost Ark last week. CAHOS_Gaming, Senderfn, and jessirocks topped the charts with ads from Cougar Gaming, NordVPN, and Hi-Tech Gaming.
The Western release of the Lost Ark MMORPG was highly successful across streaming platforms, with over 66 million hours watched in the first week. Several brands successfully activated ads with Lost Ark streamers to take advantage of the popularity.
On top was Spanish streamer CAHOS_GAMING with a sponsored stream from Cougar Gaming, which received 288,000 hours watched last week. Gaming brands are an obvious popular advertiser on Twitch, promoting gaming chairs, keyboards, PCs and more with an audience that is already most likely gaming equipment consumers.
Senderfn, a Dota2 turned Lost Ark streamer from Germany, had a popular week with sponsored streams from NordVPN. His streams reached 276,000 hours watched last week, hitting over 35,000 peak concurrent viewers. NordVPN is not shy to the #Ads of the Week leaderboards, often taking top spots last fall. VPN providers are perfect advertisers for the live streaming community, as the online nature of both sectors go hand in hand.
Finally, another gaming brand, Hi-Tech for Gamers, had the third place ad of the week. Their sponsored stream with jessirocks, another German Twitch streamer, hit 211,000 hours watched and almost 44,000 peak concurrent viewers last week. Jessirocks advertised throughout the stream that he was using a Hi-Tech PC to stream, and often linked in the site in his chat.
